I beg you indulge me on this one, as I am a Lagos boy smilesmile It's very rare you get to see aerial view images of Lagos. Really Noice composition and I love the fact that u've converted it to mono.

Fond memories as a kid, I use to go with my parents to the Ahmadiyya mosque Apongbon for prayers on Laylat al-Qadr night (during month of Ramadan), late into the night we would go up onto the roof and watch the traffic drive by, with the cool breeze blowing in from the Marina. And you could hear the hustle and bustle of Lagos night life going on down below. This was back in the days when NEPA (Electricity Company) was reliable, so on any given night you took in the stunning breathtaking views of the Lagos Skyline at nightsmilesmile

Not so fond memories was when it took me over an hour to drive from the back of the UBA building, through Apongbon on my way back to the Mainland mid afternoon a couple of years ago. This on a stretch of road less than a quarter of a mile long. I love the dynamics and vibrancy of the city, but sometimes it can get really overbearing and frustrating, and you pray for the good ole days, when things did to a certain effect work like clockwork in Lagos. Or maybe one day, the majority will wake up to realise that there is an alternative to all that madness that goes on from day to day in that great city we call Eko Akete smile
Aisha Augie-Kuta: Wow...I'm glad I could bring back good memories for you. I think I have a picture of the mosque you are talking about. Will put it up for you when I find it. Thanks foto as I also have fond memories of growing up in lagos.
Lovely lovely smile
Aisha Augie-Kuta: Thanks Subs & Sin, I see you guys have been busy lately. Keep up the good work.

Can't beat the composition on this one. Will love to do something similar in lagos at some point. I feel the contrast between the buildings in the foreground and those in the back i.e the shoreline is a bit high for a late afternoon sht. ( guesing the sun must have been up at the time judging by the shadow on the roof behind the tank at the bottom of the frame. I have to say its good shot. Did you apply any vignette effect to it. What type of lens ? - Range
